Sarah Murray, RN, IBCLC, RYT200
I have been working in the birth world for the past 17 years. My work and experiences as a Labor & Delivery Nurse and Lactation Consultant in several busy NYC hospitals ignited and fueled my passion for women’s health and birth education. Caring for women as they birth and learn to feed their babies provides an unparalleled opportunity to deeply teach, connect, advocate, and empower.
I believe birth is a sacred rite of passage, with the power to transform us, while creating a blueprint for the life of our kids. However, in today’s modern society we’ve lost our way.
My personal experience with infertility, breastfeeding challenges, infant colic, and the isolation that comes along with new motherhood left me depleted and eager to create the community for education and support that I so longed for. Passage was born out of a desire for new and expectant parents to feel deeply honored during their pregnancy and the postpartum period. All of our offerings for education and support are rooted in yoga and mindfulness practices.
